Alberto Alvarez turned to Libertarianism during his enlistment in the Marine Corps after witnessing the Department of Defense overspending on military contractors. He moved back to Orange County to attend law school at Chapman University and now works at an accounting firm advising individuals and business entities on tax issues. He is a member of the Young Tax Lawyers Division and advocates for taxpayer rights and simplification of both the federal and CA tax codes.
