We are now well into summer and we have some really exciting events coming up that I want to share!
This weekend will be the 10th Annual Southern California Conference which will be held at Geezers in Santa Fe Springs on July 20th from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and feature several liberty minded speakers. The keynote speaker will be Barbara Kolm; Ms. Kolm is the President of the Friedrich August von Hayek Institute and the Director of the Austrian Economics Center (AEC). In addition, Alicia Mattson and Aaron Starr will discuss their new efforts in Oxnard where they are fighting the corrupt City Council; Judge Jim Gray, retired Superior Court Judge and 2012 Libertarian Vice President Candidate will be updating us on his many projects; and I will be giving an update on the happenings in the Libertarian Party of California!

The following day is California’s Emerging Free Markets Social Economics & Crypto-Communities Seminar which is a full day event with many exciting speakers which include Barbara Kolm; Judge Grey; Tom W. In August we will be having our 3rd Quarter Executive Committee Meeting in Santa Clara, CA which will be held at the Avatar Hotel from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. , 4200 Great American Parkway, Santa Clara, CA 95054
Immediately following the meeting we will be holding a special evening with Supervisor Jeff Hewitt! This will be a fun evening which will include special guest speakers and an auction of some pretty cool items! And don’t forget we are currently hosting a booth at this year’s 2019 State Fair in Sacramento and still need additional volunteers for this event. Mark Hinkle, and the LPC State Fair Committee, are organizing this outreach project and need your help in introducing fair-goers from across the state to the Libertarian principles of free trade and the individual pursuit of fun!
The fair will be going through Sunday, July 28, 2017 at Cal Expo, 1600 Exposition Blvd., Sacramento; Building D, Booth #582 (air-conditioned!).
