Join other Libertarians in Alameda on August 26th for food, freedom and fun on the beach at the Mariner’s Lagoon Picnic Area of Robert Crown State Beach! We’ve reserved a large picnic area with seven tables that can accommodate at least 50, at least 6 BBQ grills and a play area for kids and outdoor games (croquet, Frisbee, whiffle ball, water balloon toss, etc.). We’ll begin setting up at 10:00 a.m. and we have the space until 6:00 p.m.

Street parking is free if you can get it, or you can pay $5 to park all day in the lot on McKay Avenue, just 100 yards from our picnic site.

We’ll be grilling hamburgers & hot dogs (including some veggie dogs and burgers) and will provide chips, salads, watermelon, and sodas. Our permit allows for beer and wine so feel free to bring your own libations or any side dishes you’d like to share.

Donations to cover expenses are welcomed, but not required, particularly if you bring a dish to share. If you can’t bring a dish, a donation of $10 for adults or $5 for teens would be appreciated. Children are welcome!
