To Be Qualified As a Delegate
Your membership in the state Central Committee must be in good standing.
New members must enroll in the State (not National) Party by January 24, 2009. State Party membership is separate from membership in the Libertarian National Committee.
Renew your membership online or by calling the State Party office. Refer to the Membership page for more information.
Voter registration forms will be available at the credentialing desk for those eligible registered to vote in California and who are registered in any other party other beside the Libertarian Party, excluding those who Decline to State. However, you still must have been a state Central Committee member for a period of any ninety days prior to the Convention to be eligible to be a delegate.
The seventeen members of the Executive Committee (5 Officers, 10 At-Large Representatives, and 2 Alternates) are allowed to seat one delegate irrespective of the above rules. Contact these members directly if you are unable to qualify otherwise.
